Your State Privacy Rights

Effective date: October 1, 2026

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy for residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia. Some rights depend on where you live and on whether a law applies to us.

Personal information we collect

In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories, from you, your device, and our service providers:

  • Identifiers: name, email, phone, postal address, IP address, online identifiers.
  • Customer records: billing and shipping details. (Payment card data is handled by our payment processors.)
  • Commercial information: products purchased or considered, order and return history.
  • Internet activity: pages viewed, interactions with the Site and our emails.
  • Approximate geolocation: city or region derived from IP address.
  • Inferences: product interests drawn from the above.
  • Sensitive or health-related information: purchase data that may reveal a health or wellness interest. We use it only to provide our products and services and do not use it to infer characteristics about you. See our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

We use these categories for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy and disclose them to the service providers and partners described there.

Sale, sharing and targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. However, advertising and analytics partners may collect identifiers and internet activity through cookies and pixels on the Site. Under some state laws this may be a “sale,” “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or “targeted advertising.” We do not sell or share health-related information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

To opt out, use the “Your Privacy Choices” option where it appears on the Site, enable Global Privacy Control in your browser (we honor it for that browser), or email support@opanutrition.com with “Opt Out” in the subject line.

Your rights

  • Know and access the personal information we have about you, and receive a portable copy.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising and profiling with significant effects.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we already limit it to what is necessary).
  • Appeal a decision we make about your request.
  • Non-discrimination: we will not deny you goods or charge different prices because you exercised a right.

How to make a request

Email support@opanutrition.com or use our contact form. Tell us your state of residence and which right you want to exercise. We will confirm receipt and respond within 45 days (we may extend once by 45 days where the law allows). To protect you, we verify requests by matching information you give us with our records, such as your email address and a recent order number.

Authorized agents may submit a request on your behalf with your signed permission; we may ask you to verify your identity directly.

Appeals: if we decline your request, reply to our decision with “Appeal” in the subject line within 45 days. We will respond within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

Retention

We keep each category only as long as needed for the purposes described, generally up to seven years for order and tax records.

California “Shine the Light”

California residents may ask once a year whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. We do not. Email support@opanutrition.com with “Shine the Light” in the subject line.

California minors

If you are a California resident under 18 and posted content on the Site, you may ask us to remove it by emailing support@opanutrition.com.

Nevada residents

We do not sell covered information as defined by Nevada law. You may still submit an opt-out request to support@opanutrition.com.
